Ahhh my favorite blog post of the year is here! Last week I shared my Best of Engagements blog post and I loved getting to go back through all my favorite portraits over the 2019 year and now it’s the WEDDING side of things!
14 incredibly beautiful weddings. 14 adorable couples. 14 days of fun and joy and memories. I was so blessed to have traveled as far as Maryland and all the way to the mountains of Virginia and everywhere in between. So many amazing venues and vendors, I got to celebrate and laugh with so many of my couples’ families.
Going back through all of these images and picking out my favorites for the year was so much fun because I got to see all the love and effort my brides put into their weddings, the small details that were unique to each couple and how all the weddings were beautiful but so uniquely different. The soft candid moments, the fun people had on the dance floor, ALL the gorgeous details and of course my favorite, the romantic portraits of a bride and groom taking the moment in after just getting married or sharing their First Look.
I cried at least once at every wedding, I spent many hours in the car driving to and from home and many more hours editing weddings infront of my computer. This year challenged me as a photographer and business owner, especially as I made large transitions into full-time photographer life and the biggest shock of the year that we were expecting Baby Doza 2.0 as I was at the beginning of a 10 week wedding stretch. But through the year, every single couple has been beyond incredible, they were so worth it and I’m so thankful for all my sweet couples. So, I hope you enjoy all the gorgeousness from my 2019 Weddings and I’m excited to see what 2020 will hold!
Not gonna lie, I definitely shed a few tears at this Mother-Son First Look!
Cindy & Brett’s wedding made me fall even more in love with brunch weddings!
One of my favorite veil shots EVER
This mountain view was BREATHTAKING! So worth the drive!
The cutest First Look ever. Please, grooms, you won’t regret having one!
And that’s it for Best of Weddings 2019! I loved every wedding and each photo holds just amazing memories for each couple. I can’t wait to see what 2020 has in store for me! Now since this was just the end result of days, weeks and months of work there’s a LOT of behind the scenes that happen on the wedding day to make it flawless and incredible! Next week, I’m sharing a new favorite post: the Behind the Scenes 2019 so you’ll definitely want to come back for that one! 😉
