My last engagement for 2020 is officially done and it was the perfect way to wrap up the year! Taylor and Jordan were in Richmond for the holidays visiting family and they had reached out to me about doing an engagement session while they were in town.
I was thrilled to get to spend some time getting to know these two and exploring Shockoe Bottom a little bit with them! Taylor and Jordan had been engaged for over a year now and the pair are really a well traveled couple having roots in Richmond and Long Island NY (woohoo another fellow Long Islander!) and having lived in the Washington DC area and now Chicago. These two were such a joy to be around and their laughs and easygoing attitude made the whole session so relaxed and just so fun!
I met them at Ironclad Coffee Roasters and despite growing up in the Richmond area, I’d never actually been there before! And I basically fell in love with the place as soon as I set my eyes on it. We then just hung around Ironclad, then headed over further into Shockoe Slip. This engagement session is quintessential RVA to me. Cool old buildings, brick covered facades and cobblestone streets.
Thank you, Taylor & Jordan for spending some of the afternoon with me! And all the best for your Long Island wedding this upcoming summer!
Enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement session in Shockoe Bottom!
