After ten years together, Eric and Marta got married in the sweetest intimate Hanover Tavern wedding (finally, Marta joked often on the wedding day) in March.
The wedding came together quickly due to an international move for the couple but a long time coming in their love story. I’d known Marta for years and was thrilled when she inquired with me about her wedding day! She and her then fiance planned the wedding from their home in Chicago as they prepared for an overseas move to Germany for work which they paid homage to in their wedding. As favors for their guests, they had plenty of mugs from Germany as a keepsake and Marta honored her own colorful Hispanic heritage with the most unique wedding dress I’ve ever photographed!
Marta’s bouquet was made from succulents with charms of her dad & grandmother tied around the stems. Her veil was lace edged and gorgeous with the bright colors of her wedding dress and I couldn’t get enough.
This was such a special wedding for me and I’m so honored to have been a part of a friend’s wedding day.
