It was a surprisingly warm December day at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. John insisted on carrying his coat even though the day was warm and Emily didn’t know that the coat pocket was carrying the most gorgeous ring. He popped the question and Emily said yes!
So naturally we found ourselves at the VMFA for part of their RVA engagement session on a much chillier and windier day than their engagement day. First we went to The Jasper in Carytown where they love to stop for drinks. It was so different to what I normally shoot but I LOVED it.
After leaving the Jasper we went to the VMFA where I got to meet their sweet pup Reina! It’s always my favorite when my couples bring their pets with them for their engagement sessions, especially when they’re as friendly and happy as Reina was.
Almost one year to the date of their wedding at Virginia House in 2023 and I already am counting down the days!
But for now, just soaking in the fun from their Carytown & VMFA engagement session!
Ah I cannot wait for their March 2023 wedding at Virginia House! But I’m sure these photos will give me something to look forward to until then!
