VIRGINIA BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY

EST. 2018

Here’s my favorite wedding venues in Virginia for the most incredible portraits, coming from a Richmond VA wedding photographer who knows that not only should your venue be a spectacular place for hosting a wedding but should also have equally spectacular features for your wedding day photography.

Modern & Classic VMFA Wedding

It was an incredible day filled to the brim with stunning details. Luisa & Matt decided on March 19 for their wedding date and we were blessed with one of the most beautiful Virginia spring days I’ve ever seen for a wedding. Luisa’s eye for a classy and modern wedding came to life and I was blown away by the details and how her vision came together for their VMFA wedding in Richmond, Virginia.

They waited 441 days for this day. It was so evident on their wedding day just how loved they are by the people who know them and knowing them, you just can’t help it. I loved every minute of working with these two and it never even felt like work because it was just so much fun! It was truly my honor being their photographer and friend. Enjoy scrolling through my favorites from this gorgeous whimsical and colorful summer Old Silk Mill wedding!

Last Friday I got to meet Matt & Luisa at Libby Hill Park in Richmond VA for their engagement session and I have to say it was definitely one of the most fun engagement sessions I’ve ever done! The weather was perfect and it was a sunny day which made for gorgeous golden hour portraits! Luisa and Matt were so fun to talk with and getting to hear more about them and their sweet pets! Especially since their 5 month old puppy, Max, joined us for photos and I was over the moon!

For Brides

Old Town Alexandria is somewhere that I love going to but don’t get to go often. So when Mallory suggested Old Town for their engagement session this fall, I was all for it! I loved meeting this sweet couple and exploring Old Town with them. This is probably one of my most colorful sessions due to all the different fun and vibrant backgrounds! From a fun rainbow installation in Waterfront Park to a pretty blue part of a wall, going down alleyways and borrowing someone’s front porch with a cute little pumpkin, this has so many fun locations and I’m so excited to share them now!

From Washington DC for an early morning cherry blossom engagement session (still obsessed about it by the way) to here for their wedding and I’m so excited to share some of my favorites from this beautiful wedding day. A stunning sunroom for getting ready, special bridal details and golden hour portraits are just some reason why I’m going to be oversharing this sweet Black Horse Inn wedding.

It was the hottest day in September (or at least, it felt like it!) on the day Bryce & Cameron got married at the Barns of Kanak in Prince George, VA. But the heat had nothing on the indescribable joy these two had all day. The weather was hot but it also wasn’t as hot as they were either 😉 I loved everything about their wedding day, from the First Look to the bridal party portraits, a gorgeous ceremony and INCREDIBLE golden hour bride & groom portraits that made me swoon. It was beyond difficult finding just a couple of favorites to share for their sneak peek and I’m not even holding myself back on their blog post! Enjoy my favorites from their beautiful wedding day!

It was a gorgeous September day, a little over a year since I first met Nicole at a Starbucks close to home for our first meeting together. Finally their wedding day was here and I was so excited and honored to be there to capture it and celebrate Nicole & Brian getting married!

Carefully picked details, touching bouquet charms, a handkerchief that belonged to the bride’s grandmother and the cutest bridal party ever. This wedding was so much fun and I had a BLAST (pun intended) all the way through.

Karlie and Tanner met me at Byrd Park in Richmond on Sunday for their engagement session and I couldn’t have asked for a prettier Sunday for their session! It’s mid-September which is giving me and Karlie all the fall feels but it’s Virginia and we got 85 degree weather with humidity but we noticed a few trees were giving us some beautiful fall colors and I had to incorporate that!
