For Brides

It was a touch windier than expected but an all around gorgeous day for an engagement session. Ashley and Ben met me at Maymont Park Friday afternoon for their engagement session and I was so thrilled to get to meet these two cuties and enjoy the beautiful florals blooming in Maymont’s Italian and Japanese Gardens.

Ashley and Ben met online and instantly hit it off together. Ben proposed at William and Mary on the Crim Dell Bridge and I learned from Ashley that the old wives tale with the bridge was that if you held hands with someone on the bridge, you would be lifelong friends and if you kissed on the bridge, you’d be lifelong partners. And based off their engagement session, I can tell this is true. They had an effortless kind of love and radiated joy.

Ben was always down to make Ashley laugh and he surprised me with how he pulled poses and ideas out of nowhere and it basically made my job 1000000x easier and more fun! Plus these two absolutely nailed the twirl and dip combo! 😉

I couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick off my spring engagement season with these two and I’m even more excited for their November wedding at Oakdale! But until then, enjoy some of my favorites from their Maymont Park engagement session!
